Molecular Editor is capable of printing the molecules in three different forms, all of which will print on both the ImageWriter and the LaserWriter. These three forms can be found in the File menu. The first, Print Molecule, will print the molecule on the printer exactly as it appears on the screen. The other two, Print Coordinate Table and Print Connection Table, will print the tables to the printers in a readable format, close to what appears on the screen.
Because of the limited memory of a 128K Macintosh, printing directly to the printer is not possible from within the program. Instead, a spool file will be created which can be printed from the Finder. The menu item will read Spool ... instead of Print.
